Bright Spot Inclusive Playground is a playground designed for full accessibility–all children can use it–but the equipment is designed for kids in wheelchairs. This project for Culpeper County Parks and Recreation broke ground in 2017, continued on through the 2018 monsoons, and had a soft opening last summer. Our customer Dave Marciniak of Revolutionary Gardens felt this was a great project and offered his design and installation help. He worked closely with the county on original plans and revisions and was able to find a balance between elaborate plantings and budgets. In the end, he was able to incorporate the use of natives and add some green space and habitat. In late May with the help of Paul Eden and some plant material donated by SRN and other material purchased by Dave, he and his team were able to further enhance this community park with landscaping. As these plants fill in over the years they will be enjoyed by everyone that has a chance to utilize this park. SRN is glad to help supply material for this project. If you have charitable projects which you need plant material assistance for, please reach out to us!
