It was a pleasure and honor to tour this innovative Georgia grower.  These photos are only a small sample of several new and superior plants that we should be integrating into our designs and landscapes (with the exception of Foster holly; they looked too good not to share). In addition to several hundred acres of B&B field production, this grower also produces over 100,000 liners annually for their operation and for other growers who want to be a part of forward-thinking nursery people in search of better trees, especially native cultivars.  And if that was not enough, this grower also trials hundreds of new trees annually. He has single-handedly introduced numerous popular tree cultivars and has several new ones in the pipeline. Our industry is fortunate to have this grower doing this difficult but important work so that we have better trees for our future and future generations.   Photos taken 16 Aug 2024; part one of 2.
